My brother and I have been making knives basically since we were kids and professionally since 2002. We manufacture both fixed blade and linerlock knives. For the blades we use Mosaic damasks of our own production, as well as carbon and powder steels. The handles are made of natural materials such as - domestic and exotic woods, horn, bones, mammoth and semi-precious stones, etc.
We produce custom knives according to customer designs and requirements, as well as according to our imagination. For several years we have been participating in cutlery exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad.
The idea of Dachs Manufakture (Industrial Production), was born at the end of summer 2019, when we came up with the idea to start producing knives with the help of a machining centre. We also take pride in the fact that our knives are made in the Czech Republic !
One of our priorities is cooperation with Czech cooperators and people.
Our knives are signed with Japanese TANUKI and Dachs
We are engaged in the production of hand forged replicas of Japanese swords, the traditional technology of folding steel and then folding into the construction of HON SAN MAI gitae. The blades are hardened at Hamon, signed with the Japanese TANUKI emblem and manufactured in accordance with the original traditional methods.
We use traditional materials, stingray skin, cotton braids, water buffalo horn, copper and folded iron for the sword set (koshirae).
We produce both sharp combat swords and training swords unsharpened for IAIDO, or even sharp for TAMESHIGIRI cutting techniques.
The sword is always made according to the customer's requirements and needs.
